Compassion in Action: Fighting Hunger, Restoring Dignity
At RCCG Dominion Life Chapel, London, we believe that everyone deserves access to nourishing food and a life of dignity. That's why, for over five years, our local food bank has been a lifeline for families and individuals throughout the London-Middlesex area—delivering more than 170 tons of essential food supplies across 20,000 beneficiary visits to those facing food insecurity.
Mission
Our mission is simple yet impactful: to support our neighbors, reduce the burden of hunger, and prevent the hardship and isolation that can come from not having enough to eat. The food bank is more than just a resource—it’s a safe haven that stands as a testament to Canada’s commitment to the United Nations Human Right to Life. By putting food on the table, we help restore dignity and hope, complementing vital social services at all levels of government.

We also wishes acknowledge the continued support of the Real Canadian Superstore Hyde Park Area in London Ontario whose continued support and generosity helped us expand our food bank offerings, supporting newcomers, seniors, racializedminorities, and vulnerable populations with a greater variety of nutritious foods.
Vision
We gratefully acknowledge the support of the Government of Canada, especially Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada for their emergency food security funding in 2022, which enabled us to grow our reach in the wake of COVID-19 and during a slow economic recovery. Their generosity helped us expand our food bank offerings, supporting newcomers, seniors, racialized minorities, and vulnerable populations with a greater variety of nutritious foods.
Additionally, funding from Employment and Social Development Canada in 2025 has empowered us to recruit summer staff, strengthening our capacity to serve and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.
